ABOUT THE SPORTS COMMISSION
OKINAWA
The Sports Commission Okinawa works to expand and develop sports conventions in Okinawa Prefecture by coordinating inquiries related to training camps, tournaments, and sporting events from both Japan and overseas, as well as by promoting Okinawa’s sports environment.
In response to inquiries from training camp and tournament organizers, travel agencies,
and other related parties, support is provided according to the following process.
※Please note that experience-based events included in travel packages and sports experience activities for individual travelers are not eligible for support.
1Inquiry
Based on the details of the inquiry, relevant information is carefully provided and coordination is carried out by connecting the inquirer with the appropriate contact points.
※For training camp inquiries, coordination is conducted based on the “Training Camp Coordination Checklist.”
Please contact us once the desired training period and approximate number of participants have been determined.
2Coordination Between Responsible Parties
Based on the information provided by the Sports Commission Okinawa, organizers are requested to communicate and hold discussions directly with the relevant organizations.
※Note: Coordination does not need to be conducted through the Sports Commission Okinawa.
※Please note that the Sports Commission Okinawa does not arrange or make reservations for sports facilities or accommodation. Organizers are requested to contact each facility directly.

Inquiries can be made by phone or email.
1. Tourist Information Interpretation Service
Provides multilingual guidance on Okinawa sightseeing information, transportation, and event details.
2. Medical Information Interpretation Service
If you experience health concerns such as fever, stomach pain, or injuries, this service will listen to your symptoms and, if necessary, provide information on nearby medical facilities and appropriate responses based on your condition.
